We start by covering your countertops and laying down protective runners in our work areas to safeguard your floors. Next, we carefully remove all the panels—doors and drawers slated for painting—and meticulously label each piece for precise reinstallation. Once everything is removed, we clean up the workspace and transport your panels to our climate-controlled, specialized spray facility for a flawless finish.
Panel Processing
Our sales manager will provide you with the latest “in-shop” timeline, giving you a clear picture of when your cabinet panels will be completed. Here’s how the process works:
Our expert cabinet painters begin by thoroughly prepping each panel at our cutting-edge facility. Achieving flawless, brand-new-looking cabinets starts with meticulous preparation. We start by deep cleaning every surface to remove dirt and grime, followed by filling any cracks or imperfections and caulking where needed. We then apply a fine sanding technique to ensure the paint adheres perfectly.
Next, we prime the panels using high-adhesion, solvent-based primers, essential for a long-lasting finish. After priming, our technicians re-sand the panels, touch up the caulk, and address any remaining imperfections. Once prepped, your panels are ready for our proprietary, factory-quality finish—a high-tech acrylic paint that’s designed to endure over time.
Between each coat, the panels rest in our sealed, dedicated drying room, where they’re protected from dirt, dust, and particles. After the final coat is applied, we allow the panels to cure for three days before transporting them back for reinstallation, ensuring they’re fully dry and ready to shine in your home. We believe our finish is the finest cabinet finish you’ll find anywhere.

Once the panels are completed and ready for transport, our team will return and re-install hardware (new hardware if you chose to change it), doors, and drawer fronts in the correct locations, all with premium bumpers. Soft-close hardware is also installed, if initially ordered, and then we clean everything!
